Truths about Sun Signs

The Sun Signs
By Branka Larsen

By Branka Larsen

Branka is the wife of Visti Larsen. She has already translated 5 of Sanjay Rath’s books into Serbian, her native tongue. Her new book aims to deepen your understanding of the Sun signs based on Jataka Parijata. This is a rather large classical work, so an examination of what it says on Sun signs is a very welcome contribution to Jyotish. The brevity of most classical works on Jyotish means that ‘unpacking’ what the verses say is very necessary.

‘The author is also hopeful that this book will inspire astrologers to spend more time on a thorough study of the fundamental concepts of Jyotish, including that of the twelve Sun signs’ (quoted from the back cover of the book).

Truths about the Sun signs is available from Amazon, Abebooks, Book Depository, etc.

Dr. Shanker Adawal has written well over 20 books. They are all replete with full information on the subject he is writing about. I would recommend this book published in 2019. It would be very useful for anyone to acquaint themselves with his teaching and writing. If you look for Dr. Shanker Adawal on Google you will find many articles and videos as well as books.
