We are sad to say but Gordon Brennan has passed.

“With immense sadness I want to share that Our beloved Gordon Brennan is no more.
Gordon moved to his next journey on 20March 2026. Gordon was the council member of BAVA from a few moths after its inception. He was a major support and always taking on responsibility and helping BAVA. Gordon was a respected Vedic scholar and Jyotishi. He ran the vedic book shop and he had a great stock of Vedic astrology books.
You will be missed Gordon a lot. May your soul be at peace”.
Gordon initially studied for a degree in Modern Languages. He took up Sanskrit and Indian Philosophy some 40 years ago, which led to the study of Jyotish.
He joined BAVA in December 1996 a few months after it was set up. Gordon qualified as a Jaimini scholar in 2011 studying with Pandit Sanjay Rath.
He was the Education Secretary of BAVA and represents them on the UK Advisory Panel for Astrological Education and on the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Traditional Indian Sciences. He taught Vedic Astrology for 20 years.
